1. Reservation Cancellations and Refunds
If you want to cancel your tour package reservation, a refund will be made according to the following conditions:
Cancellations made 60 days or more before the tour start date: 100% of the total amount paid will be refunded. (Bank transaction fees, if applicable, may be deducted.)
Cancellations made 30 to 59 days before the tour start date: 50% of the total amount paid will be refunded.
Cancellations made 29 days or less before the tour start date: No refunds. In this case, the paid amount is completely deducted.
2. Partial Cancellations or Changes
Partial cancellations or changes to a tour package, such as a reduction in the number of participants or a change of date, may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and a new booking and may be subject to the above cancellation policy.
Change requests must be made as early as possible and in writing. Approval of changes is subject to availability and policies of relevant service providers (hotel, transportation, etc.). Additional costs may occur.
3. Products and Services Other than Tourism Services
Return conditions for products sold through our website other than tour packages (e.g. souvenirs, digital guides, etc.) may vary depending on the nature of the product. These conditions will be stated on the relevant product page or in additional information.
4. Making a Cancellation Request
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to [info@bookingbalkans.com or relevant email address]. The date on which we receive your cancellation request will be taken as basis for the refund calculation.
5. Return Process
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of the cancellation request being approved.
For payments made by bank transfer, IBAN information may be requested for refund.
For payments made by credit card, the refund will generally appear on your credit card statement. This process may take additional time to be processed by your bank.

In rare cases, we reserve the right to cancel a tour package due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political instability, inability to reach a sufficient number of participants, etc.). In such a case:

The entire amount paid will be refunded in full.
Options for an alternative tour package or postponement to a later date may be offered.

8. Force Majeure
If the tour package cannot be realized due to natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, epidemics, government restrictions or other events beyond our control (force majeure), bookingbalkans.com cannot be held responsible for cancellations or delays and our refund policy will be re-evaluated according to these special circumstances.
