This is an incredible look into the past, into the creation of one of the most unique empires that ever existed: Ancient Macedonia. An empire founded by the father, Phillip II of Macedon & continued by the son, Alexander the Great, whose lust for power and greatness exceeded expectations. He created one of the biggest empires of ancient times that stretched from the Balkan region to the outskirts of India. One of his greatest victories was bringing to her knees one of the great civilizations in history, Persia. We will visit the birthplace of Alexander the Great, the city of Pella. Also, we will visit two cities, the archeological sites Heraclea and Phillpi set up by Philip himself & his tomb in Vergina. We will experience the legends, see the remains of a once-great empire, and relive the stories of these historical men.
